Dr Ulhas Lad and his wife Dr Geeta Lad are the two doctors in our practice. Both of them have Vocational Registration and actively participate in Continued Medical Education and Quality Assurance Program.

They have 30 years of experience as general practitioners and speak English as well as Hindi. They were in General practice in the country town of Smithton on the North West Coast of Tasmania for 12 years from 1974 to 1986. They have been in practice at the Blackmans Bay Doctors Surgery since 1987.


Dr Ulhas Lad has special interest in sports medicine, diabetes, hypertension and geriatric medicine. Dr Ulhas Lad consults with male patients only.


Dr Geeta Lad has special interest in women’s and children’s health issues.
