While appointments are preferred we do make provision for patients with urgent problems, emergencies and casualties. When you arrive for your appointment, please report to the reception desk and inform our reception staff if the problem is urgent and requires immediate attention.

Problems such as severe pain, cuts, fractures, acute respiratory difficulties, chest pain are dealt with promptly. We have a separate treatment room for patients in severe pain or distress. 

12-15 minutes is generally allotted for a normal consultation however we do understand that on some occasions you may require a longer consultation. Please let the receptionist know at the time of making your appointment, if you will require extra time.

Longer appointments will be necessary for insurance and employment medicals, diving medicals, superannuation medicals, removal of moles and other lesions, full medical examinations, driving medicals for heavy vehicles or taxis and first antenatal visits.

If you or a family member require an interpreter service, we can organise this for you; please let us know when making your appointment.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify us as early as possible so that we may allot the time to another person.
